Our Warranty Coverage

Workmanship Warranty by Job Type

Our written workmanship warranty runs up to 10 years, depending on the job. Every job gets a warranty certificate on completion stating its term.

Skylight conditions

• Installed with VELUX flashing.
• Covers the skylight unit and its flashing only. The existing roof around it is excluded.
• Skylight in a new opening only: void if the roof is replaced, or the skylight flashing is disturbed, by anyone other than ALFE Roofing. If ALFE Roofing later replaces the roof, the skylight carries on under that roof's warranty.

Materials carry their manufacturers' own warranties, separate from ours — see below.

GAF Material Warranty Details

ALFE Roofing installs GAF roofing systems. GAF shingles carry the manufacturer's Shingle & Accessory Limited Warranty, which covers the materials themselves. Key terms:

• Covers the GAF shingles and qualifying GAF accessories against manufacturing defects
• Material claims are handled directly through GAF; labor on a new GAF shingle roof is covered by our own 10-year workmanship warranty
• No registration required, and it applies as long as the system is installed to GAF specification

Repair & Maintenance Warranty

Repair and maintenance jobs carry a 1-year workmanship warranty on all work performed. If the repaired area fails within 12 months due to our workmanship, we return and fix it at no charge.

Exclusions: damage caused by subsequent storms, hail, falling debris, improper owner modifications, or pre-existing structural conditions not addressed in the original scope of work.
